UP #2047 "It can't handle it"  Contributor's Pick!
It is a funny story how we brought this thing back to life after being dead for 20 years... One day I took this engine to my friend Kevin's house. It kept violently jerking around the track so we put my Daylight train on the track too! Well BAM! It just starting running perfect!!! Well it started running really good! Well we were in such excitement that we forgot there were train cars just sitting on the track!!! Well you know what happens next... THEY CRASHED!!! But nothing was hurt. So from then on it now runs fine after a few warm-up laps every time!!! :-)

Alex Vaughn General Nice model. I used to have an old ALCO RS-2 or RS-3 that had to "warm up", too. It had sound built in - sounded just like a real one LOL. 7/7/2008 1:14:24 PM
Fred Stuckmann General Cool story, my Dad fixed our TV by smacking it a good one once. 1/1/2010 4:49:42 PM
